Anthony Di Fino has led more than $60 million in annual external revenue operations at the Power 4 level, delivering transformational growth across ticketing, sponsorships, multimedia rights, and fan engagement. As Deputy Athletic Director and Chief Revenue Officer at the University of Cincinnati, he oversaw one of the most significant revenue transformations in program history, achieving 86 percent revenue growth, managing over $60 million annually, selling a record 17,531 football season tickets, increasing net sponsorship revenue by 60 percent in the first year of the in-house model, and securing more than $220 million in capital campaigns and facility funding. He also played a central leadership role in Cincinnati’s transition to the Big 12 Conference.
Across stops at Syracuse University, Penn State, the University of Akron, and through IMG Learfield, Di Fino has consistently driven measurable results, including 16 percent EBITDA growth across 15 institutions, exceeding a $28 million sales goal by 14 percent at Penn State, and delivering a 72 percent increase in new ticket revenue at Akron. His career demonstrates repeatable success in scaling revenue, optimizing operations, and leading complex athletic departments to long-term, sustainable performance.
A Division I football letterwinner at Fordham, Di Fino began his career building inside-sales and marketing programs at Columbia and Army West Point, producing triple-digit ticket sales growth early on. He holds a Bachelor’s from Fordham University and a Master’s in Business and Sports Management from Columbia University and is also a regional Emmy Award-winning executive producer for the 2022 mini-series Let It Fly. With deep experience navigating Power 4 athletics, he understands conference-level pressures, NIL-era financial realities, stakeholder management, vendor and multimedia dynamics, and execution constraints, allowing him to turn strategy into measurable results for elite programs.
